About the role
A Tyre Fitter plays a key role in the automotive service industry by ensuring vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and performing at their best. This role involves the fitting, balancing, repairing, and replacement of tyres on a wide range of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and commercial fleets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fitting and removing tyres using specialized equipment
* Inspecting tyres for wear, damage, and safety compliance
* Repairing punctures and replacing damaged tyres
* Balancing wheels to ensure smooth vehicle operation
* Checking and adjusting tyre pressure
* Providing basic customer service and advice on tyre care and maintenance
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Following workplace health and safety procedures
