About the Role

The Administration Assistant supports the Diverse Needs team in the Resource Centre with administrative acumen. Additionally, the Administration Assistant communicates effectively for all stakeholders, uses discretion and judgment to plan and organise their work and the work of others, is able to problem solve, and displays expertise in making decisions.

* Monday - Friday | 8am - 4pm (30 minute unpaid break)

* Salary: Level 4 $37.21 per hour - Averaged (doesn\u2019t work in school breaks)

Selection Criteria
* Highly skilled and effective in all areas of communication
* Experience in providing administrative support in a team environment inclusive of scheduling, records maintenance and data entry
* Understanding of confidentiality, privacy and dignity of all involved
* Ability to use technology in a variety of formats
* Ability to manage multiple Databases
* Passion, willingness or experience in working with students and families who have Diverse Learning requirements
* Understanding of the requirements for the National Consistent Collection of Data
* Extremely professional in manner and appearance

Essential Criteria
* Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent two years experience in administration work
* Understanding of NCCD requirements and/or Disability Act Legislation
* NSW Working with Children Check
* Drivers Licence
* Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check
* Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
