As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Secretary / EA to join our Sydney team and provide high-level, confidential support to our Principal and the broader legal team.
About the Role

Working closely with the Principal, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
Utilising LEAP as the practice management software.
Opening legal files and assisting in matter management from creation to closure, including conflict checks, updates, archiving, and document control.
Coordinating calendars, deadlines, and travel arrangements to ensure efficient workflow.
Other general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and expense processing.
Preparing, proofreading, and formatting legal documents and correspondence.
Conducting searches (e.g. ASIC) and basic legal research as required.
Liaising with clients, barristers, experts, and external stakeholders on behalf of the Principal.
Assisting with billing, reconciliation, trust accounting, and WIP reporting.
Offering team support during peak periods or staff absences.
About You
A positive and friendly personality who has the ability to work in a team environment but also independently.
Minimum 3-4 years experience as a Legal Secretary, EA, or in a similar support role.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
Clear and professional communication skills, written and verbal.
Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a strong problem-solving mindset.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook.
Strong experience with LEAP is required.
