About the Role:
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive professional looking to contribute to meaningful projects? This APS5 Project Officer role offers the opportunity to support moderately complex work across a dynamic team environment. You'll be involved in project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and administrative support that drives continuous improvement and performance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in project coordination and monitoring activities.
* Contribute to project plans and schedules aligned with organisational frameworks.
* Provide procedural guidance and technical expertise.
* Conduct research and analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
* Draft business cases, executive briefs, and other documentation.
* Support budget monitoring, procurement, and contract management.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project and business outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
* Understanding of agile project methodology.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Experience in government administration and project coordination (desirable).
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Planner).
Working Environment:
* Open office and hot desk environment.
* Occasional work-from-home flexibility.
* Screen-based work and telephone use.
