About the role
At All Fired Up Fire Services Pty Ltd, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician - Fire Service Technician to join our team. As a full-time Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire protection systems, ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' premises.
What you'll be doing
* Carry out installations, maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers and other fire protection equipment
* Perform inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet relevant Australian standards
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire protection equipment and systems, and implement effective solutions including fire panel repairs and upgrades
* Liaise with management to provide expert advice and guidance on fire safety compliance
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all work undertaken through fire specific data management system 'Uptick'.
* Collaborate with the broader team to support the efficient delivery of fire protection services
What we're looking for
* A valid Electrical license and relevant qualifications in the fire protection industry
* Experience (1-2+ years) as an Electrician, with a focus on the installation, maintenance and repair of fire protection and fire panel systems highly desirable
* Drivers licence - C class or above
* Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of fire protection regulations and standards
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, fire panel fault finding and a customer-focused approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Willingness to undergo both formal and informal training
* A commitment to safety at all times
