Senior Management Accountant | 6- Month Fixed Term Contract | Central Melbourne location
FourQuarters are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our client's finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract with potential to extend.
This role will support the delivery of accurate financial information, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide analysis to support business decision-making across a range of infrastructure projects.
The position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, project-focused environment and contribute to the ongoing success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis.
* Support annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
* Partner with project and operational teams to provide financial insight.
* Monitor project performance, costs, and profitability.
* Manage journals, accruals, and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
* Assist with audit preparation and other compliance requirements.
* Identify and support process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
About You:
* CPA or CA qualification
* Previous experience in management accounting, ideally within an infrastructure, construction, or engineering business.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting systems.
