About the Role:
The School of Science is seeking a qualified Mathematics Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for teaching and learning to contribute to the development of mathematics programs.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with expertise in mathematics to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a related field and/or relevant work experience, as well as proven commitment to proactively keeping up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach mathematics courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
* Design and deliver high-quality educational materials and assessments
* Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes
* Mentor and support students from diverse backgrounds
* Contribute to the development of mathematics programs and research initiatives
Requirements:
* PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience
* Proven commitment to teaching and learning design, development, and delivery
* Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high-quality educational materials and assessments
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
