Position: Executive Officer – Mission, Identity & Culture
Location: Support Centre, Milton QLD
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Remuneration: Circa $90,000K + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
This is a role for someone who thrives on making things run seamlessly behind the scenes — while staying deeply connected to our mission and Lutheran identity. As Executive Officer to the Executive Director of Mission, Identity & Culture, you’ll provide high‑level executive, project and coordination support that enables strong leadership, meaningful connection, and values‑led impact across Lutheran Services. This is growing area, where you will be a driving force, a proactive organiser, a trusted sounding board and a ready problem solver! About You You’re highly organised, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable operating at executive level.
Ideally, you bring:
* Experience supporting a C‑suite executive and/or working as a Project Officer or Coordinator
* Strong judgement, diplomacy, and discretion when handling sensitive matters
* Proven ability to work autonomously, anticipate needs, and manage competing priorities
* High proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and digital project tools
* A current Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Blue Card
An understanding of faith-based organisations and our Lutheran ethos will be highly regarded.
About the Role This role is critical to the smooth operation and strategic effectiveness of the Mission, Identity & Culture branch. If you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working closely with senior leaders, you’ll love this role. You will:
* Provide high‑level executive support to the Executive Director and Director of Chaplaincy & Ministry Development, including diary management, meetings, events, travel and follow‑ups
* Coordinate projects, secretariat tasks, reporting, and workflow across the MIC branch
* Support business cases, project planning, budgets, risk management, and performance reporting
* Prepare and manage executive‑level communications, correspondence, and briefing materials
