About The Opportunity

Maitland Hospital is looking for motivated and compassionate Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our casual pool. This is a great opportunity to work flexibly across a variety of specialties while developing your skills in a modern, supportive environment.

As a valued part of our care team, you'll work alongside nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals to deliver safe, person-centred care. Casual AINs are essential in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality support across diverse clinical areas—including Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedics, and Wound Care.

You'll also be backed by our dedicated Nurse Unit Managers and Education Teams, who provide tailored guidance to help you grow your confidence and capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (AIN) or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Nursing degree (completion of 1st year and at least the 1st semester/trimester of 2nd year) or equivalent experience.
A passion for providing safe, compassionate, patient-focused care
Flexibility to work across different shifts and clinical settings
