About the Role

As a Support Coordinator, you will provide person-centered NDIS Support Coordination and capacity-building support to participants of all ages and backgrounds. Your role is to empower individuals by helping them understand and implement their NDIS plans while facilitating connections with local providers and community-based programs. You will collaborate closely with participants, their families, and various service providers to get the most out of their NDIS plans. Embracing a "do with, not for" philosophy, you will encourage individuals to actively participate in their support journey.

About You

To thrive in this role, you're a compassionate and organised professional who understands the importance of person-centered approaches and inclusion. Your strong communication skills help you connect with participants on an empathetic level, ensuring their needs are met.

You're great at managing your time, prioritising tasks, and handling busy workloads with ease. As a self-starter, you enjoy working independently and love tackling challenges with your resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.

Your commitment to cultural awareness and inclusivity shines in your interactions with diverse groups, including LGBTIQA+ individuals and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. You're proficient in Microsoft Office and can work in cloud-based software, making it easy for you to document and report on the services you provide.

With integrity and transparency guiding your work, you collaborate effectively with service providers and community organisations to deliver support. Your passion for building positive relationships and promoting inclusivity truly makes you a perfect fit for this role

Requirements:

* A South Australian Driver's Licence,
* Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current Police Clearence
* NDIS Worker Screening Check

Location

This role is based at Bowden just a short walk to the popular Plant 3 and Plant 4 entertainment complex in Gibson Street however some off-site work will be required.
