Senior Veterinarian Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinarian to join our team in a stunning coastal area. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care to local pets and be committed to providing exceptional service.
About the Role
This is a 38-hour full-time Monday-Friday position with minimal after-hours or weekend work, offering a great work-life balance. As a Senior Veterinarian, you will be responsible for overseeing the caseload, working autonomously as well as in a team, and providing expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-level veterinary care to a range of cases, including surgical procedures
* Conduct thorough medical examinations and provide accurate diagnoses
* Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* BVSc or equivalent degree and registration to practice in South Australia
* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Vet, preferably in a rural or regional setting
* A strong passion for surgical casework and commitment to high standards of care
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients
