Competitive package on offer Excellent pipeline of work and projects Looking for someone with strong experience that can works autonomously Gough is seeking a Senior Estimator – High‑Rise Residential & Commercial projects A well‑established, vertically integrated construction business delivering complex Class 2 high‑rise residential and mixed‑use commercial projects is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join its growing pre‑construction team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on landmark developments, partnering closely with project directors, engineers and delivery teams to shape projects from early feasibility through to contract award. The Role As Senior Estimator, you will take ownership of comprehensive tender submissions across mid‑ to high‑rise residential and commercial builds, contributing to both competitive pricing and commercially robust outcomes. You will be responsible for: Leading full cost planning and first‑principles estimating on Class 2 developments Producing detailed BOQs, take‑offs and trade packages Managing subcontractor pricing, scope alignment and tender evaluations Supporting feasibility studies, budgets and value engineering exercises Coordinating closely with design, construction and commercial teams Providing input into risk assessment, procurement strategy and program alignment Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes About You You will be a commercially minded estimator with strong technical grounding and exposure to complex residential construction. Key experience and attributes include: Demonstrated experience estimating Class 2 high‑rise residential and/or mixed‑use commercial projects Strong understanding of D&C delivery and multi‑trade construction sequencing Proven capability producing competitive tenders and accurate cost plans Experience engaging with subcontractors and negotiating trade pricing Comfortable working across feasibility, budget, tender and post‑award support Highly organised, detail‑oriented and commercially astute Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams Experience with leading estimating software and market‑based cost data is essential.
