About the Role As a CSSD Instrument Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting safe, high‑quality surgical care. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring sterilisation practices comply with AS 5369 (2023) and infection prevention standards Working across all CSSD areas including Decontamination, Packing, Sterilisation and Loans Operating, monitoring and documenting machinery according to operational requirements Completing accurate documentation and reporting quality‑related activities Demonstrating flexibility to work morning/afternoon shifts and weekends as required Essential Criteria Minimum 1 year experience as a CSSD Instrument Technician Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or currently working towards) Commitment to maintaining current skills and professional knowledge Strong customer service focus and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Well‑organised with initiative and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment Basic to intermediate computer skills Why Healthscope?
