Diggers Services Club is Logan's premium entertainment venue. Diggers offer a modern gaming lounge, restaurant, café, bar, live entertainment, daily bingo sessions, and dedicated private events and function spaces.
We are looking for an accounts all-rounder with payroll experience to join our team.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2+ years of accounts/payroll experience to be considered for this role.
This is a part time or casual opportunity with 20-25 hours per week to be worked across 5 days. Further hours available when your counterpart is on leave and is reciprocated for your leave. Can be an early start (8am) or school hours. This position could also be full time and has been advertised as a full-time role. Note we only need one candidate.
Reporting to the CFO the responsibilities of the role will include:
* Accounts Payable and Receivable
* Club Daily Banking
* Spreadsheets and Reconciliations
* Bank Reconciliations
* Weekly Payroll (experience essential)
* Ad hoc duties as required
The ideal person for this position will be an all-rounder with strong knowledge of accounting principles and attention to detail. It is imperative that you are a team player who shows initiative. You will require strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sounds excel skills essential. Experience with Xero accounting and Tanda time and attendance software is advantageous but not essential.
