Job Summary
We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer in Melbourne, Australia. The role is full‑time permanent. Only applicants who are Australian permanent residents, New Zealand citizens, Australian citizens, or holders of a 491 visa will be considered.
Key Qualifications
* Performance engineering background (5+ years).
* Experience with microservices built on Java.
* Experience performance testing APIs and workload distribution.
* Gatling tooling experience mandatory.
* Hands on scripting experience.
* JMeter is a bonus.
* Broad understanding of Observability principles.
* Working knowledge of Docker and Gradle build tool.
* Experience working with Cloud / Kubernetes preferred.
* Experience working in a CI / CD environment with continuous testing principles.
* Working knowledge on APM tools such as AppDynamics / Dynatrace / Grafana.
* Knowledge of load testing tools Load Runner.
