Job Title: Front Office Manager
About the Role:
* The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front office, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and that the department runs efficiently.
* This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and inspire their team to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Office Operations:
o Participate in daily operations meetings to liaise and coordinate closely with support departments regarding general administration and operations issues
o Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the front office and that departmental standards and procedures are strictly adhered to
o Liaise with Reservations Department in a high house situation and recommend actions to be taken
2. Team Management:
o Interview, select and recruit front office employees
o Identify and develop team members with potential
o Conduct performance reviews with the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience & Technical skills:
o 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with strong knowledge of Opera PMS and proficiency in financial reporting
o Demonstrated ability to multitask and make decisive decisions in a fast-paced environment
* Leadership & Communication:
o Proven ability to mentor and inspire teams with excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Operational & Strategic mindset:
o Passion for hotel operations with the ability to think strategically, adapt to change, and stay current with industry trends
