We are committed to excellence in our field and are looking for a talented and dedicated Assistant / Junior Accountant to join our finance team and work closely with our Digital Media Business.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
As the Assistant / Junior Accountant at Merchantwise Group, you will play a critical role in supporting our Senior Accountant and finance department.
Your main duties will include:
Recording Financial Transactions
Assisting in Month-End Close
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Expense Management
Basic Financial Analysis
Assisting with Audits
Compliance and Regulations
Assisting in Budgeting
Data Entry and Documentation
Problem-Solving
To be successful in this role you will have:
2 years' experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
(Xero and Sage Intacct software is ideal but not essential)
Solid analytical skills
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges.
