Senior Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our Melbourne team. Reporting to the Development Director, this permanent full time role is responsible for managing the redevelopment of the former Kingswood Golf Course in Dingley Village into a vibrant new residential community. This role requires proficiency in planning, design and delivery with a strong focus on built form and landscaping. The role will require strong stakeholder relationship management (both internal and external) to achieve successful project delivery outcomes and will utilise your well-developed project management skills to ensure successful delivery of the development.
What You'll Do
* Manage project delivery and the commercial performance of the project, including management of consultants and contractors.
* Ensure on time and on budget delivery of all project stages including approvals and title procurement.
* Work closely with key builder partners and Satterley's internal sales team to ensure high-quality housing options are provided to the market.
* Maintain strong relationships with local and state government authorities and other key stakeholders.
* Preparation of Board reports and project financial analysis.
* Manage complex project budgets.
What We're Looking For
* Degree qualified in a property or development related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with urban renewal and master planned residential communities.
* Sound understanding of, and direct experience with, the full development life cycle and a developed understanding of the process from inception to financial close and beyond.
* An ability to effectively negotiate and influence project outcomes, while balancing competing stakeholder needs and priorities.
* Proven problem-solving skills with the capacity to think strategically and create viable options that address both current and future requirements of the business for the assigned project/s;
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and experience with budgeting/financial management are essential.
