About the role
The General Medicine Department at North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) provides comprehensive inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and outreach services through telehealth. The team manages a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring continuity of care across all settings.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Competitive remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value up to $474,185 p.a. (Paid pro-rata for engagement period or part time employee) comprising:
Base salary ranges between $7,189.50 and $7,414.40 p.f (L13-L14). (Paid pro-rata for engagement period or part time employee)
Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual.
5 weeks annual recreational leave accumulation.
Generous employer contribution to superannuation of 12.75%.
Attraction and retention incentive allowance of 35% base annual salary.
Regional and rural attraction allowance of 15% base annual salary.
Motor vehicle allowance.
Professional development allowance and leave of 3.6 weeks p.a.
Inaccessibility allowance.

Rent-free accommodation will be provided for a period of 17 months, followed by a nominal board amount thereafter (as per the NWHHS Procedure for Staff Accommodation)

Requirements
Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Current general registration with or/eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
Provisional Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP + FARGP), with Advanced Specialised Training (AST) in Adult Internal Medicine.
C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A period of probation may apply.
