About the role
Working with the Development Managers, the Assistant Development Manager is an integral part of the boutique development team! Supporting end‐to‐end project delivery and coordination, throughout the construction and delivery phases of some of our Boutique, premium luxury residential projects.
You will be working across multiple projects in an exciting and past‐paced environment developing your skills, putting you on the pathway to becoming a Development Manager, as you grow with Gurner!
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Contract Administration, commercial focus & Consultant Coordination: Assisting in the administration and coordination of consultants, contractors and project stakeholders across active developments with commercial exposure
* Programme Management & Project Delivery Support: Supporting project delivery activities to maintain programme milestones and construction outcomes.
* Cost Management, Variations & Financial Administration: Assisting in maintaining accurate financial tracking and project cost administration.
* Marketing, Sales Launch & Customisation Coordination: Supporting the successful coordination and implementation of project marketing, sales launch and purchaser customisation activities.
* Settlement, Defects & Purchaser Coordination: Assisting with settlement processes and purchaser management throughout project completion
* Reporting & Stakeholder Management: Providing communication and coordination support across project teams, stakeholders & consultants.
* Procurement & tender coordination: program tracking and delivery management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally need:
* A construction, property, architecture, engineering or related degree is favourable
* Previous experience in property development, construction, project coordination or a contract administration environment
* Exposure to projects during delivery and construction phases with a strong understanding of project coordination, programme management and construction processes
* Exposure to contract administration, consultant coordination and variations management would be advantageous
* Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
* High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced and dynamic project environment, working independently while supporting the Development Managers
* Strong collaboration skills across design, construction, sales and delivery teams
* Customer and stakeholder‐focused mindset with a commitment to quality outcome
* Passion for luxury design, architecture and premium built‐form outcomes
* Competency with Microsoft Office, project reporting systems and general IT platforms
* Strong willingness to learn and develop within a high‐performing development environment
