The Opportunity

Cherry Tree Grove Retirement Living is a vibrant community with spectacular grounds for residents to enjoy. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will be working closely alongside your fellow Maintenance Officer, the residents and fellow staff, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day maintenance and repair tasks around our retirement village. You'll spend your day being hands‐on with repair tasks and working with contractors or internal team members to ensure the village is maintained and presentable for all to enjoy. If you enjoy connecting with people, being hands‐on and are skilled in maintenance, domestic repairs or facilities, you will love this opportunity. This new opportunity is a full-time position working Monday – Friday (8am – 4pm)

You will

* Identify and respond to maintenance requests as requested (e.g painting, patching or general troubleshooting)
* Carry out, and ensure all planned preventative maintenance checks are completed as per schedules
* Work with the Aveo Facilities team and contractors to ensure external works are attended to and completed to a high standard
* Conduct regular inspections around the village to rectify any maintenance defects and issues
* Complete maintenance administration items, including responding to emails, raising work orders and updating records
* Enjoy connecting with residents around the village and build on resident satisfaction
* Assist with any other tasks around the village to ensure resident satisfaction
* Please note - this is not a gardening role. We've got that covered.

What you will bring

* Experience and/or skilled in maintenance, repair, facilities or construction fields (e.g highly skilled in domestic repairs, or previous experience in a trade)
* A proactive, outgoing & caring personality with an interest in making a difference every day
* Valid driver's licence and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
* Current Police Check certificate (If you do not have one, we can complete for you)
