* Bid Leadership: Decode tenders, engineer proposals, crunch details, and sell solutions by showcasing innovation and cost-efficiency.
* Project Execution Preparation: Review designs, monitor subcontractor performance, manage timelines, and assist in budget management to maintain commitment and avoid delays.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead teams, motivate and mentor site personnel, engage with clients, and liaise with design, procurement, and QA teams.
As a substation and civil engineering professional, you will lead hands-on project delivery and foster a culture of safety and excellence. Your expertise ensures proposals meet stringent industry standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS 2067, IEC 62271).
Key Requirements
* Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Experience: 3+ years in substation civil works or transmission projects, with bid/tender exposure a plus.
* Technical Skills:
o Geotechnical interpretation and foundation design.
o Proficiency in civil design software and familiarity with relevant industry tools.
o Working knowledge of key industry standards.
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to align designs with budget realities and assess subcontractor quotes.
