Job Description
The Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Transmission Project is building new high‐capacity transmission lines, energy hubs, and supporting infrastructure to transfer power generated by solar and wind projects to electricity consumers. The project will be operational by 2028 and will unlock up to 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity.
Our project is seeking a dedicated Site Administrator to support the Energy Hubs and Substations teams.
Location
Central‐West Orana region – Merotherie site‐based office. Monday to Friday, DIDO, approx. 8:30 am to 5 pm.
Preferred locations: Mudgee, Dubbo, or the Hunter Region, and willingness to travel to the site each day.
About the Role
The Site Administrator focuses on a variety of administrative and general ad‐hoc tasks to support the team. Responsibilities include managing daily document processing, coordinating meetings and appointments, and providing general support to streamline day‐to‐day operations.
* Provide administrative support to the Environment, finance and construction teams, including data entry, document management and report generation.
* Assist with tracking and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record‐keeping and timely reordering of supplies.
* Coordinate and schedule team meetings, including preparing agendas, booking facilities and organising catering.
* Support financial processing, including invoice management and expense tracking for the department.
* Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations through regular documentation and reporting.
Required Skills and Competencies
* 2–3 years of experience in an administrative role on large infrastructure construction projects.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office software and general computer skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven organisational skills and motivation to work towards team objectives.
* Strong multitasking ability and sound judgment, balancing competing issues.
* Problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Construction Induction Training (CIT/White Card) obtained via face‐to‐face training.
* First Aid (Level 2) certificate, always current.
* Current driver licence and own reliable vehicle.
