PHE is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our friendly team in Gympie as a Finance & Administration Assistant. This is the perfect opportunity to start your career in finance or administration while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
This role will give you hands-on experience with financial systems, project cost tracking, and day-to-day office operations. You'll be trained to work with accounting software, process invoices, and support projects across Australia.
Key responsibilities include:
* Learning how to process and code invoices for different projects and departments
* Assisting with recording and allocating travel expenses (flights, accommodation, etc.)
* SUPPORTING monthly cost tracking and reporting
* Liaising with project managers to confirm approvals and details
* Gaining exposure to financial systems, especially MYOB
The ideal candidate will have:
* A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
* Strong organisational skills and ability to follow processes
* Confidence working with numbers and basic computer skills
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Previous office or admin experience is a plus but not essential
