KAEFER Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to support ongoing maintenance at the Hay Point Trestles. You’ll work in a heavy‑industrial coal‑handling environment, helping maintain the reliability of conveyors, ship loaders, and fixed‑plant infrastructure.
Reporting to site supervision, you’ll join a close‑knit, high‑performing team delivering safe and compliant maintenance services. Your role includes structural repairs, fabrication, welding, and general maintenance across major fixed‑plant and heavy‑industrial assets at Hay Point.
ABOUT THE JOB
* Key Responsibilities
* Perform structural repairs, fabrication, and maintenance tasks
* Weld, cut, and fit steel components
* Support maintenance, breakdown, and project works
* Interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications
* Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
* Complete pre‑starts, JHAs, and risk assessments
* Work safely within site procedures and Australian Standards
ABOUT YOU
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Proof of right to work in Australia
* Trade Qualification – Boilermaker / Fabricator
* OHS / Construction Card
* Working at Heights (within 2 years)
* Confined Space (within 2 years)
* Standard 11 / Conduct Local Risk Control
* Coal Board Medical / Section 6
* Experience in carbon, stainless and aluminum welding
