New Murchison Gold Limited (ASX:NMG) is a mineral exploration and development company which holds tenements in the Murchison goldfield, Western Australia.
NMG has recently commenced mining at its flagship high-grade Crown Prince Gold Project.
The exploration team is rapidly expanding and now is a great time to get in at the ground floor.
We are well resourced and aggressively exploring our enviable tenement holding.
About the Role:
NMG is seeking an experienced project exploration geologist to assist in managing all aspects of in-field exploration.
This position is permanent full-time, field-based and offered on a 12 days on/9 days off roster with camp and mess facilities in the regional hub of Meekatharra.
Responsibilities:
RC, Diamond Core and AC rig supervision including data collection and management
Plan drilling and other sampling programs based on geological evidence
Interpret and present results to peers and management
Training and mentoring of junior and less experienced team members
Participate in internal and external compliance and reporting of these
Contractor management and participation in budgeting
Qualifications:
Archean orogenic gold experience
Previous experience as a project-level geologist
Experience with RC, Diamond core and AC logging/supervision
Familiarity with exploration/mining software QGIS/Micromine or similar
Microsoft Office suite of programs experience
Must have a minimum of 3 years of exploration geology experience.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology or Earth Science is required.
