About The Role
Ausco Modular is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team in Redbank. This role is responsible for generating sales by promoting Ausco Modular products and services while delivering outstanding customer service.
The position also supports cross-hire solutions, supplier coordination, and the preparation of accurate and competitive quotations to assist in securing new business. This role is a fixed-term contract until December 2027.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide professional customer service as the first point of contact for enquiries, consulting with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions.
* Achieve sales and revenue targets by managing the end-to-end sales process for smaller projects and accounts, maintaining strong client relationships, negotiating pricing, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
* Prepare and coordinate quotations, including cross-hire products and services, ensuring pricing accuracy, supplier alignment, and timely turnaround.
* Support internal sales teams and tender processes by sourcing supplier pricing, identifying appropriate cross-hire solutions, and ensuring competitive and accurate quotations.
* Maintain and manage the cross-hire supplier database, pricing lists, and supplier onboarding processes while building strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
* Act as a central coordination point for cross-hire enquiries and collaborate with internal teams across Sales, Hire Operations, Marketing, and Administration to support project delivery and sales outcomes.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales pipeline activity, prepare quotations and tender documentation, and support continuous improvement of cross-hire processes and systems.
About You
* Certificate or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or similar
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales role
* Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
* Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail and strong numerical ability
* Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and Navision
Desirable:
* Experience in a B2B sales environment
* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
* Experience coordinating suppliers, vendors, or project support activities
