As a Graduate Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting refrigeration projects with opportunities for professional growth and hands-on engineering experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engineering Solutions: Perform calculations and designs for efficient and effective refrigeration systems.
* Tender Preparation: Prepare estimates and tender submissions for minor and major project work, demonstrating analytical skills.
* Project Evaluation: Evaluate and modify existing refrigeration plants to meet client requirements, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving abilities.
* Client Support: Assist with all services, including consulting, contract work, maintenance, and parts supply, emphasizing exceptional customer support.
* Project Management: Manage projects from start to finish, including supplier negotiations, design coordination, procurement, resource coordination, and project administration.
* Cost Control: Control project costs, ensuring successful project completion, and conduct regular forecasting to maintain efficiency.
* Risk Assessment: Prepare risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety systems for all equipment and project work, prioritizing team members' and clients' well-being.
* Project Scheduling: Utilize MS Project for project scheduling and develop knowledge of applicable Australian and International standards to guarantee compliance.
* Design Development: Draft designs for small projects and manufacturing using AutoCAD and hand sketches, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
* Collaboration: Liaise with mechanical designers, boilermakers, and other tradespersons to facilitate safe and efficient equipment designs, promoting collaboration and open communication.
* Audit and Reporting: Complete safety and engineering audits of refrigeration systems on site and compile client reports, providing actionable insights for improvement.
* Innovation and Excellence: Contribute to the continuous development of internal systems to streamline engineering and project management functions, driving innovation and process excellence.
* Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties related to engineering and project management, maintaining organization and attention to detail.
* Commissioning and Training: Supervise and assist with commissioning new plants as necessary, ensuring seamless project execution, and deliver training for internal and external technical personnel, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
* Customer Satisfaction: Provide outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, exceeding expectations and building long-term relationships.
* Expertise and Development: Develop expertise in all systems under control, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
