About the Role:We're seeking an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to own the implementation and maintenance of robust identity and data management activities and frameworks. The role ensures Aurizon's cyber security risk and compliance objectives are met and control maturity aligns with the enterprise strategy. This position suits someone with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Operating within a growing cyber function, you will collaborate with other analysts and specialists, offering opportunities for growth across identity, data, GRC, and platform services.
Primary Activities:
* Assess current data security measures, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements.
* Take ownership of security strategies and protocols, planning and executing projects in the identity and data security roadmap.
* Consult on technology choices, architectural design, configurations, and management processes.
* Document IDM procedures and business rules.
* Collaborate with Technology teams to maintain IDM infrastructure, including connectors to other systems.
* Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor, analyze, and investigate security incidents.
* Support training efforts on data security protocols and procedures.
* Develop reports and documentation related to data security issues.
* Stay updated on the latest cyber threats and security tools.
About You:
* Tertiary degree in IT, Software Engineering, Networking, or Engineering (mandatory).
* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
* Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies, server OS (Windows and Unix), relational databases, Active Directory, LDAP, messaging systems, and data security tools like MS Purview.
* Hands-on experience with identity management solutions like Forefront IDM and Novell/NetIQ Identity Manager.
* Proficiency with security monitoring tools such as SIEM software (e.g., Defender, Splunk).
* Experience in information security management within large organizations.
* Experience with Microsoft Entra/Azure, HR systems, PIM/PAM, and CyberArk.
* Knowledge of federation, B2B/B2C, conditional access controls, and system integration.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
* Ability to communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
