Our bakery is looking for a Pastry Cook to join our team.Salary: $73,150/year (plus super)Job Type: Permanent, Full-timeStart Date: As soon as possibleLocation: Sussex Inlet NSW 2540Tasks:Ensuring all baking equipment and work areas are clean and functioning safely prior to commencing production, in line with occupational health and safety requirementsInspecting the quality of ingredients and accurately weighing materials for pastry and dough productionKneading, mixing, shaping, cutting, and maturing doughs and pastries in preparation for bakingPreparing various sweet and savoury fillings for use in pastries and baked goodsMonitoring oven temperatures and observing the condition of baked products to determine appropriate baking timesCoordinating the loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling processes for batches of breads, rolls, and pastriesApplying glazes, decorations and finishing touches to buns and pastriesOperating bakery machinery used to roll, shape, and cut doughCleaning, greasing, and maintaining baking trays, tins, and other baking equipment after useRequirements:Work Eligibility: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)Qualifications: At least Certificate III in Patisserie (or equivalent)Experience: At least 1 year working as a Baker/PastrycookLanguage: Conversant in English
