We are seeking a skilled Stonemason to fill a full-time role with our pool renovation company in Perth, Western Australia. This position involves working on residential swimming pool surrounds, coping, tiling, concreting and general pool renovation work across the metro area.
Key Responsibilities
* Cutting, shaping and installing stone around pool edges and surrounds
* Preparing surfaces, including grinding and levelling
* Laying natural stone, granite, porcelain, limestone and similar materials
* Replacing damaged stone or coping
* Using hand and power tools safely and skillfully
* Working with concrete, screeds and adhesives where required
Requirements
* At least 2 years' stonemasonry or related trade experience
* Experience working with stone on outdoor surfaces or pool areas preferred
* Ability to read measurements and work accurately
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors
* White Card (or ability to obtain one)
* Driver's licence preferred but not mandatory
