The Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services (BEMS) at the Proserpine Hospital is seeking a Trades Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your Opportunity
The primary focus of your role will be to assist the BEMS Management team with the delivery of Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services at sites and facilities within the MHHS. This position requires the candidate to lead, direct and be accountable for the day‐to‐day operations for contractors and coordinate trade services in supporting the facilities. This position reports to the BEMS Manager.
About The Team
The BEMS department has three distinct sections: the Maintenance Team, Capital Works and Administration Team. BEMS provides integral maintenance and engineering support for multiple facilities across the Mackay Hospital & Health Service, ensuring compliance with OH&S and all relevant AS/NZ standards. The department provides a single point of contact for all building and facility‐related information. The Director Facilities Management is the senior manager for all BEMS services, reporting to the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services.
