HVAC Technician Level 4 at South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). Permanent Full Time role. Position Classification: Electrical Tradesperson Level 4. Remuneration: $75,168 per annum plus superannuation. Hours per Week: 38. Applications close: 30 September 2025.
What You82ll Be Doing
The Heating, Venting and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Technician provides effective and effective services related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and addresses day-to-day operational issues in this area. The SESLHD vision is “exceptional care, healthier lives.”
- Carry out maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of HVAC systems ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and safety practices.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders and provide technical advice.
- Work independently and manage work tasks and priorities to meet service demands.
- Participate in an on-call roster to respond to urgent maintenance requests (as required).

Qualifications and Experience
- Current relevant trade qualifications such as Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration.
- Demonstrated skills across heating, ventilation and air conditioning including maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders and provide technical advice.
- Experience working independently and managing work tasks and priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality work, including compliance with Australian Standards, work health and safety practices, and policy and legislative requirements.
- Demonstrated skills in using computer applications such as Building Management Systems and maintenance systems.
- Current NSW driver license and willingness to travel as required by the position.
