Fantastic career opportunity – Production/Demand Coordinator for a large multinational manufacturer Permanent Full time role Monday to Friday 7am – 3pm or 8am -4pm Competitive Salary on offer Dandenong South location The Company A busy, large multinational manufacturer of gardening tools and equipment systems in Dandenong South is seeking an experienced Production/Demand Coordinator to join their team. You will work closely with the production and finance teams. Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to: Production: Calculate and generate PO requirements, liaising with all vendors Receipt and reconcile inwards goods correctly Forecast and plan future purchasing costs according to business needs Produce, maintain and manage the production schedule Order raw material components to meet forecast demands Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or quality Assist the Operations Team in developing schedules for projects Finance support: Monitor & analyse costs and efficiency of company purchasing activities, external inventory, labour and material purchases and make recommendations on cost savings Review and document inventory and material purchases Accurately record and update existing and new purchased materials and goods Transactional AP, AR and Banking To be successful, you will have the following skills & qualifications:- 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Production Planning and procurement in a manufacturing environment Proven ability within inventory planning, forecasting and management Tertiary qualification in business/supply chain Strong computer skills including advanced skills with MS Office and experience with previous experience with ERP systems Experience in accounts payables & receivables and payroll processes an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided You will be a team player, with strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment In this role you will be heavily connected with the production floor staff, liaising and working with them closely to meet the business and client’s needs.
