About the Role
We are seeking skilled and experienced Fitters to join our growing team in Mandurah. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for tradespeople who take pride in producing high-quality finishes on large-scale industrial and heavy vehicle equipment. Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs, servicing, and assembly work on concrete agitators, mixer trucks, and batching equipment
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults across heavy vehicle systems and batching equipment
* Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and performance in demanding operating conditions
* Repair or replace worn and defective parts, ensuring all reassembled components meet quality and performance standards
* Carry out testing, adjustments, and commissioning of machinery to verify correct operation
* Support fabrication and engineering teams in equipment modifications and custom builds to meet client requirements
* Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation for all completed work
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition
Essential skills and attributes:
* Relevant experience in fitting, servicing, and assembling heavy vehicle or industrial equipment, ideally including concrete agitators, mixer trucks, or batching systems
* Skilled in component disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly to meet strict quality and performance standards.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair faults in heavy-duty equipment operating in demanding environments
* Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
