Job Description

At our Port Hedland location, we are seeking a Branch Manager to oversee the sales team and drive growth in the region. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can lead, coach, and mentor a team of Customer Service Officers and Warehouse team members.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site pick and pack, local manufacturing, and customer-specific testing work. They will also actively drive employee engagement and improvement using feedback, data analysis, and action planning.

In this role, you will build engaging relationships with customers, internal, and external stakeholders during every interaction. You will also manage and lead all safety objectives, including training for staff and reporting to senior leaders.

Regular visits to customers' sites will be required to develop technical solutions, offer best practice advice, and services. Additionally, achieving budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets will be a key responsibility.


Required Skills and Qualifications

* Previous sales experience, preferably in Industrial Supply or Trade.
* Ability to coach, lead, and have performance discussions to support your team's growth and success.
* Sales experience with a strong focus on customer service and building rapport.
* Drivers license essential and forklift license preferred but not essential.
* Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and focus on completion of allocated tasks and reporting.
* Excellent oral and written communication with a proactive approach.
* Comprehensive computer experience specifically Microsoft Suite (Excel and Word a must).
* Strong time management skills with a solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
* Be safety-minded and promote all things safety within our branch.
* Experience with industrial products such as lifting and rigging, trade products is preferred but not essential.
