Senior Lawyer, Litigation and Claims Specialist
The Department of Education seeks an experienced Senior Lawyer to join the Negligence, Litigation and Redress Unit. This is a key role in providing strategic legal advice on litigated and non-litigated negligence claims against the department.
As a Senior Lawyer, you will work closely with the Principal Lawyer and Managers to coordinate requests for advice and litigation brought against the department. You will provide high-quality, timely, and practical legal advice on complex, high-risk, or sensitive matters to various departmental clients.
