About the Role:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Massage Therapist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will provide a range of therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual client needs, supporting injury management, pain relief, relaxation, and overall physical wellbeing. This role requires strong technical skills, a professional approach to client care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess clients' physical condition, medical history, and treatment goals prior to each session.
* Provide a variety of massage techniques, including remedial, relaxation, and therapeutic massage, based on client needs.
* Develop and adjust treatment plans to address muscle tension, soft tissue injuries, postural issues, and mobility concerns.
* Apply appropriate massage methods to promote recovery, reduce pain, and improve circulation and flexibility.
* Maintain accurate client treatment records and progress notes in line with clinic procedures.
* Ensure a high standard of hygiene, safety, and professional practice at all times.
* Educate clients on aftercare, stretching, and self-management techniques where appropriate.
* Work collaboratively with other health practitioners within the clinic to support integrated client care.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent recognised qualification.
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
* Sound knowledge of human anatomy, musculoskeletal conditions, and therapeutic massage techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
