Our client is seeking motivated professionals to join their team in the management and improvement of community infrastructure. Two exciting opportunities are available:
Asset Survey Officer
As the Asset Survey Officer, you will be responsible for the field inspection, verification, and condition assessment of a wide range of infrastructure assets, including roads, bridges, drainage, footpaths, parks, reserves, playgrounds, street furniture, and associated vegetation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and improving baseline asset information.
* Supporting lifecycle planning and renewal prioritisation.
* Capturing and verifying new asset data for asset registers.
* Meeting statutory and organisational asset reporting requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the field and has a keen eye for detail.
Asset Officer
As the Asset Officer, you will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analysing detailed asset information to support effective long-term planning. This role involves conducting inspections, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring information is transferred accurately into Asset Management systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining asset registers to a high standard of accuracy and completeness.
* Supporting organisational planning through quality data analysis and reporting.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory asset management requirements.
* Collaborating with internal stakeholders for timely transfer of information.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys data management, reporting, and applying technical systems knowledge.
What We're Looking For
Both roles require strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a proactive, organised approach. Practical inspection or surveying experience is valued for the Asset Survey Officer, while strong data analysis and system proficiency are key strengths for the Asset Officer.
