The Role
We're looking for an experienced
Lead Psychologist
to:
1. Lead clinical quality across psychology & counselling
2. Supervise and grow provisional psychologists to full registration
3. Lift capability, confidence and consistency across the team
4. Reduce risk (complaints, burnout, compliance)
5. Help evolve services, frameworks and future offerings
You'll still have a
manageable caseload
, but your real impact is
multiplying good practice across the whole team
.
What You'll Actually Do
1. Provide high-quality therapy across
NDIS, Medicare, WorkCover/RTWSA, EAP & private
2. Deliver
Assessment services for clients
3. Be the go-to for
complex referrals and clinical decision-making
4. Lead
supervision, mentoring, file reviews and capability development
5. Own the provisional psychologist journey (logs, supervision, growth plans)
6. Improve and evolve
policies, templates and clinical systems
7. Roll out
at least one new service offering
8. Work closely with leadership and with external senior supervisors - your voice matters here
This Role Is For You If:
1. You've got
5+ years postgrad experience
2. You're a
Board Approved Supervisor
3. You're solid across CBT, ACT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches
4. You like leading
people
, not just policies
5. You care deeply about quality, safety, and clinician wellbeing
6. You want influence - not just responsibility
The Setup
1. Predominantly based at our
Parkside office
2. Some limited time at other sites (Parafield etc.)
3. Supportive leadership, clear expectations, zero tolerance for "she'll be right" clinical standards
