The Team
Safety is our top priority. When you join the Safety & Systems team, you’ll help ensure the safety, reliability and cost-effectiveness of ARTC’s rail assets. The team standardises operating environments across systems and regions to increase efficiency for rail operators and improve network reliability and cost-effectiveness.
The Opportunity
This role will support the development, delivery and implementation of ARTC’s Integrated Management System (IMS) Framework through provision of process, quality and system architecture expertise.
Responsibilities Of The Role
- Support the Integrated Systems Framework team with the development and implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) framework to ensure ARTC management systems (Safety, Environment, Asset, Risk and other relevant systems) provide an integrated single point of truth.
- Work closely with ARTC Systems and Technology on IMS implementation in line with the broader digital strategy and existing technology systems.
- Support continuous improvement of ARTC’s core business and management processes (including document management, safety management, Engineering and Operational processes) and adjust as necessary to meet business requirements.
- Translate ARTC business needs into potential IMS solutions using knowledge of best practices, ISO standards, process architecture and implementation experience.
- Ensure compliance with ARTC policies, standards and guidelines relating to the IMS framework and provide advice and support to stakeholders as required.
- Develop and update plans, processes and other documentation to ensure effective IMS implementation and utilisation.
What do we want from you?
- Tertiary qualification(s) in Quality Management, Change Management, HSEQ Management or 5+ years relevant Business Improvement experience.
- Practical experience in IMS development, process architecture, Quality Management or Change Management in large high-risk complex organisations.
- Experience developing and implementing fit-for-purpose IMS, business processes and technology solutions.
- Proven experience organising and working with multi-disciplined teams and multiple stakeholders, building positive relationships.
- Knowledge and experience managing IMS, Safety Management and Quality systems compliant with relevant ISO and Australian standards.
- Positive, self-driven and professional with solid analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Rail Safety legislation and relevant Safety Management System requirements (desirable).
