About the Internship
In this dynamic, fast-paced internship, you'll work closely with our General Manager / Logistics Manager, who has 20 years of industry experience & knowledge to help manage our global product range, build relationships with awesome travel suppliers, and support the rollout of new international travel campaigns. You'll be part of a small, high-energy team that loves adventure, creativity, and getting things done.
What You'll Be Doing
* Confirm all bookings and allocations for set dates with external operators.
* Manage and set up tour group chats on WhatsApp
* Screen incoming invoices and colorate to rates & tours before passing to accounts
* Manage incoming inquiries from agents.
* Data entry and reporting on tour specifications.
* Manage allocation deadlines with third-party operators.
* Maintain good working relationships with external travel partners.
* Control reservations inbox, ensuring all customer details are correct.
* Manage each tour and support current tour departures.
* Meet & Greet groups in Byron Bay and host them during one of the activities.
Who We're Looking For
* A travel lover with a passion for youth adventure, backpacking, or cultural exploration
* Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills
* Comfortable with spreadsheets, websites, or admin systems (we'll show you the ropes)
* Great communicator – both written and verbal
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn
* A marketing, tourism, business, or communications student (or recent grad)
