As a Key Account Manager within the Nokia Space and Defence (INDOPAC) organization, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our global presence in the defence telecommunications sector. Working closely with our strategic partners, you will be at the forefront of identifying, developing, and leading sales opportunities that align with our long-term vision and growth strategy.
You'll help shape reliable and secure communication solutions for the defence and military markets. Reporting to the Vice-President, Nokia Space & Defence (INDOPAC) the Key Account Manager will:
* Achieve sales targets (OI/Rev) within assigned territories, driving revenue growth and expanding market share in the defence sector.
* Build and nurture relationships with key defence organizations, building a strong pipeline of opportunities across the defence and military markets.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to promote Nokia's end-to-end solutions, aligning sales strategies with broader business goals.
* Create and execute sales plans for target organizations, leading efforts to secure new business and deliver market-leading solutions.
* Leverage CRM and sales tools for accurate forecasting, managing sales pipelines, and maintaining data integrity.
* Drive successful implementation and customer support, ensuring seamless delivery of secure communication systems.
* Stay ahead of industry trends in defence and telecommunications, adjusting strategies to meet evolving market needs.
* Negotiate contracts and manage customer relationships, ensuring timely approvals and smooth project handovers.
You have:
* Proven success in sales, account management, or business development in complex or regulated environments, with a track record of driving revenue growth.
* Experience engaging with defence and/or telecommunications clients, and a deep understanding of defence procurement processes and military sector practices.
* A confident communicator and adaptable team player, able to build trust, influence across all levels, negotiate thoughtfully, and work independently with ease in dynamic, evolving environments.
* Willingness to travel as needed for partner collaboration and team alignment.
It would be nice if you also had:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (Master's is a plus).
* Experience working within or selling to the ADF, Five-Eyes or similar international organizations.
* Ability to attain NV1 Security clearance (as minimum).
