Role Overview
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing care while leading and guiding Personal Care Workers. Together, you will help to enhance resident well-being.
* promoting independence and helping residents regain confidence and engage in meaningful activities
* collaborating effectively with other staff and qualified practitioners to deliver proactive person-centred services and support that is safe and effective for residents
* ensuring medications are administered promptly and safely according to scope of practice and advising the Registered Nurse of any concerns or adverse reactions
* providing guidance, direction, support, mentoring and coaching as required to Personal Carers on each shift
* maintaining current knowledge of contemporary best practice clinical care within the scope of enrolled nursing practice
* reporting potential risks that could cause accidents or injuries
* keeping detailed records and ensuring comprehensive handovers between shifts
