Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Casual sales assistant to work in our busy, best-practice Nextra newsagency at Casuarina Square shopping centre. This is a Christmas casual position with likely ongoing hours for the right candidate.
We are seeking an energetic team-player who loves interacting with customers and is sales focused. To succeed in the role, your positive attitude and excellent communication skills will help you achieve sales and service targets. You need to be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Please list your available days and hours in your Cover Letter.
Prior retail experience would be highly regarded. Prior newsagency experience would be ideal.
The wage rates shown apply from juniors through to seniors. We pay the General Retail Award wage and penalty rates for your age.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to deliver high-quality service and meet sales targets.
- Assist customers with product recommendations and queries in a fast-paced newsagency environment.
- Maintain store presentation and stock levels to support sales.
- Support team with day-to-day operations as needed.
