As part of our growth, ERM offers an exciting opportunity for a Partner, focusing on Project Planning and Approvals in Perth, Western Australia. We seek an outstanding professional with strong consulting, technical, delivery, and client skills to help expand our network of client relationships by delivering tangible value.
This role involves selling and delivering high-quality technical services, recruiting and developing future leaders, and enhancing our reputation in capital project management and delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage approvals and planning teams to secure major project approvals in renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
2. Manage environmental assessment projects and related approvals to support capital project delivery.
3. Build and lead high-performance teams, mentoring consultants and nurturing emerging talent.
4. Support growth in ERM's Capital Project Delivery service area through collaboration across teams.
5. Drive innovation within our technical community to meet client needs and differentiate ERM.
6. Collaborate in a team environment to build ERM's business and lead client and technical teams.
7. Achieve financial targets, project budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction goals.
8. Partner with Account Directors to develop strategies for pursuing new business, including:
* Engaging at the executive level to showcase ERM's capabilities.
* Developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones with strategic consulting and high-quality service.
* Prioritizing sales efforts based on industry cycles and potential opportunities.
* Leading proposal development, including content, pricing, and contracting.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications.
* 20+ years of experience in environmental planning, approvals, impact assessment, with knowledge of WA and Commonwealth legislative requirements.
* High technical competence in environmental planning, due diligence, land use, and impact assessment, especially within renewables, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
* Experience building strong relationships with major clients.
* Authorisation to work in Australia.
* Deep understanding of project approval challenges and leveraging existing relationships for new business.
* Business acumen to assess risks and opportunities.
* Proven track record of delivering multimillion-dollar sales and winning large projects annually.
