The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join our team based in Perth.
This role provides day-to-day support with sales and purchasing, including customer and supplier coordination, delivery logistics and general administration.
Key tasks include creating sales invoices, preparing reports, coding expenses, and liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep the business running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain the business's daily financial transactionsManage Accounts Receivable – invoicing, payment tracking, and debt collectionAssist with Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasksPrepare weekly payroll reports for approval in a timely mannerSupport the team with the asset register, inventory, and monthly reportingSupport the Group Finance Team with month-end closing, ensuring all transactions are recorded and ready for reviewTackle ad hoc finance and administrative tasks and help streamline processesAbout YouSkills and Experience:Enthusiastic, proactive and diligent, and able to thrive in a rapid-paced environmentPermanent and unrestricted rights to work in AustraliaMinimum 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experienceExperience with MYOB AccountRight is preferable; other accounting software will be consideredOrganised, detail-focused, and quick to learnProficient in Microsoft Office suiteStrong verbal and written communication skillsAble to start the workday early (typically around 7am) to support daily delivery planningWhat's in it for you?
