Video Editor – Performance Marketing Role
We're seeking a creative and performance-driven Video Editor to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crafting high-converting video ads using user-generated content (UGC), stock footage, and original shoots - and have knowledge of performance marketing platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
About the Role
This role is responsible for creating ad creatives that stop the scroll and drive conversions. You'll take raw UGC footage, stock video, and in some cases self-shot content, and turn it into compelling performance assets - testing different hooks, formats, CTAs, and storytelling angles.
* Edit short-form video ads for Meta (Facebook, Instagram) and TikTok with a focus on performance
* Repurpose UGC into high-performing variations with different hooks, captions, and styles
* Source and edit stock video when needed, ensuring alignment with our brand aesthetic
* Work with the growth and creative teams to understand campaign goals and audience insights
* Contribute ideas for new creative angles and test variations regularly
* Occasionally shoot or direct simple content (phone or DSLR), especially for quick-turnaround needs
About You
* 2+ years experience editing video for performance marketing, especially UGC ads
* Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar)
* A deep understanding of ad creative best practices for Meta & TikTok
* Sharp eye for pacing, copy overlays, attention-grabbing hooks, and storytelling
* Experience editing for direct-to-consumer brands a major plus
* Creative, collaborative, and data-curious—you're as interested in why something performs as how to make it
