The Salvation Army Employment Plus (EPlus) is seeking an experienced employment professional to work with participants in the Workforce Australia program. The successful candidate will assist participants to overcome barriers to employment and successfully transition into the workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a high-volume caseload of job seekers
- Actively engaging with 'work ready' job seekers to secure sustainable employment outcomes, including reverse marketing to employers
- Identifying and addressing barriers preventing jobseekers from being job ready
- Providing participants with the tools and confidence to enter the workforce
- Applying robust problem-solving skills and resilience to maximise employment outcomes
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence and trustworthiness, with the ability to thrive on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and problem solve
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to challenging situations and an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated experience in achieving and exceeding business KPI's and targets
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
