Job Description
Join the Rehabilitation Team at Epworth Richmond – 2 Bethesda Wing
Epworth Rehabilitation is currently seeking Registered Nurses with experience in acute care or rehabilitation to join our dedicated team. This is a part-time / full-time opportunity based at Epworth Richmond, where you'll work within a multidisciplinary, patient-centred environment.
As part of our rehabilitation team, you'll care for patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury, and support them in regaining independence and returning to their daily lives. Rehabilitation at Epworth focuses on helping patients manage chronic conditions, recover from procedures, and prevent further injury.

You will make an impact by:
Being a key part of a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient, family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomesAssisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyleWorking with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferencesMaintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care
To be successful in this role-
Current nursing registration with AHPRAContemporary knowledge of best practice in acute, aged or rehabilitation nursingExperienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes, either from a rehab or acute setting.Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation careConfident communicator, you have a supportive, engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff, patients and their families

Epworth Continuing Care and Support Services incorporates our renowned rehabilitation, mental health and at-home hospital programs with essential support services.
Our rehabilitation, mental health and at-home hospital programs are some of the most progressive of their kind in Australia. Our clinical approach involves interdisciplinary teamwork and decision-making to provide individualised treatment and achieve positive outcomes for patients. Our strong team ethos extends across our services at Epworth hospitals in Richmond, Camberwell and Hawthorn. Our support services play a critical role in the daily operations and experience at Epworth hospitals through our food environmental and security teams.
